[AppReview] Battery Solo: A good android battery widget

Android OS is one of the most popular mobile OS available in the market today. Having its own power management systems in place, they are going against tough competition in optimizing the battery consumption in the device. Users of the devices would always wish to monitor the battery consumption in  their device so that they can use the remaining battery power in the device wisely.

Battery solo is a simple widget that displays the battery status of your device, on one of your  home screen. Following are some of its features

1: Clicking on the installed app icon lets you choose between degree celcius or farenheit.

2: Do a long press on the screen, select the Battery solo widget and it will be dsplayed on your screen

The widget on your screen now displays the current amount of battery left on your device. The halo
around the number changes colour from green to yellow and then red as your battery nears exhaustion.

3: Double clicking on the battery widget opens up a popup window

The popup window has information about

A: level of usable battery left on your device
B: temperature of your battery in degrees and farenheit
C: Voltage of your battery
D: Is your device plugged in for a charge or not
E: Status of the battery ie charging or discharging
F: Technology used in the battery, example : Li-ion
G: Health of the battery

4: The halo around the number in the widget turns blue while charging the device

Overall, Battery Solo is a light weight yet efficient battery level indicator widget, which gets the
work done work you, withought itself consuming much of your battery.
