Allmost all email service providers like Yahoo, MSN Hotmail provide an option to forward the mails that come to your inbox to another email account. In Gmail , we can actually change the settings so that , only mails from a particular sender are forwarded to your another email account, In this tutorial we will explain how you can do the same.
You must be aware of Gmail filters, or Labels . You can label the mails from a particular sender, mark the mails etc , To setup a mail filter , login to your gmail account, navigate to settings
Select the “Filters” tab and setup a new filter as shown below (scroll to the bottom of the page to create new filter).
Well , In this as an example , we have set the filter to selectively forward mails from me@example.com to the current email id mycurrentemailaddress@example.com
Click on “Create a filter with this search”
In the next screen, Select the option “Forward it” and add a destination email address, Which is mynewemailaddress@example.com in this example. Now, all emails that are sent from me@example.com will be forwarded to mynewemailaddress@example.com
You can also apply this to the existing filters by editing the filter under settings->Filters tab
