Add shortcuts to your favorite websites on desktop

In this tutorial, we will explain how you can create shortcuts to your favorite websites on desktop .Clicking on those shortcuts open the websites directly in your default browser.

Steps.
– Right click on the desktop, and select “New Shortcut”

– A wizard opens up, Write the location of the website , and finish the wizard.

Now next step is to add the icon to the shortcut, To do that, open the website in Mozilla Firefox. And right click on the page, select “View Page Source”

– Click on the text “favicon.ico” , icon opens in a new window. Click on File, Save Page As , and Save the icon

– Right click on the newly created shortcut on the desktop, and change the icon

your new shortcut is now ready !
