Selective download of files , resume download of files in utorrent

Utorrent is one of the popular torrent download client. This tutorial explains how you can selectively download the files from the single torrent file, and resume the download of remaining files without re-adding it to the Utorrent client.

First, When you open the .torrent file in utorrent, you will get the pop-up to select the files to be downloaded. So, select only those files which are required.

You download will start . Once you are done with the download of the files , you will see the torrent present in “Completed” section.

If you want to download the remaining files, just select the torrent and locate the tab, “Files” , select the files which are marked as “skipped” in the list.

right click on the file, navigate to priority->set it to “High”.

The torrent will now be moved to “Downloading” and the remaining selected files will be downloaded.

This helps when you try to download large torrents and you want only few files among the available file list.
