Reducing tab width allows you to easily navigate between the tabs and also distance between the tab close buttons would be minimal.

To Change the default tab width, you need to access Firefox configuration page.

– In the address bar, write “about:config” and confirm the warning message.

– Navigate to the variable : “browser.tabs.tabsMaxWidth“. Double Click

– Change the value (Make sure that it is above 100).

– Close Firefox and open it again, Tabs should now appear according to the modified width.
