It is really annoying when you loose your windows password , and especially administrator password.
There is a easy DOS command using which you can reset Windows XP password , and please do not use this to hack into others’ systems.
This DOS command works in most of the windows XP versions, which was actually a bug in windows allowing any person to overwrite Administrator password. Later, Microsoft fixed this issue in the later service packs. But when the situation is critical, you can still try this to reset the password.
Suppose your username is “mytechyard”, this is how you can reset the password
– Open command prompt and type “net user mytechyard *”
– You will be asked to enter the new password directly.
– Set the new password!
